Scholes: Manchester United Can Cope With Injury Crisis

Paul Scholes insists that Manchester United are capable of overcoming their injury crisis to challenge other top sides.

The absence of several starters has left Sir Alex Ferguson with some tinkering to do - particularly in defence, where Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Jonny Evans, John O'Shea, Rafael and Fabio Da Silva, and Wes Brown are all missing.

Nevertheless, Scholes is confident that United can cope.

"It doesn't change too much," the ageing midfielder said, according to the Press Association.

"We always try to play the same way no matter who is in the team.

"Sometimes you have to fill positions you are not used to. There are 19 players here and I am sure we can cope."
